Eric Benson, CST III
Survey Party Chief
Mr. Benson is a Senior Party Chief with over twenty years of experience in land surveying in support of engineering design and construction management stakeout and inspection on both private and public works projects including state and federally funded projects. His experience includes construction stakeout, as-built surveys, metes and bounds surveys, topographic surveys, primary and secondary control, data collection surveys, cross-sections, right-of-way and easement stake outs, surveys for traffic signalization, test boring locations, wetland location, floodplain cross-sections, and other miscellaneous surveys. Mr. Benson is proficient in using robotic total station instruments, electronic data collectors, GPS receivers, various types of levels, and instrument maintenance and adjustments. Mr. Benson is also proficient in survey computations and AutoCAD data processing for base mapping topographic surveys and construction stake out and as-builts. He is holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland and is a National Society of Professional Surveyors Certified Survey Technician Level III. Mr. Benson has attended the Maryland Society of Surveyors-MDSHA Plats and Surveys workshop.
